Barriers
Support in place
The graduated approach, made practical
Assess Plan Do Review follows the cycle schools already use, and turns the paperwork into a few clicks.
Assess
Pick the barriers you have seen, or paste notes from a report.
Plan
Choose quality first teaching strategies and agree outcomes with the pupil.
Do
Share a one-page profile so every teacher knows what works.
Review
Use review questions to check progress and set the next steps.
- Add the barriers. Paste notes from a report or pick from 50 barriers across the four areas of need.
- Choose strategies. Review quality first teaching strategies for each barrier, for the pupil's primary and secondary area of need, and for Year 7 settling in.
- Agree targets. Edit ready-made Assess, Plan, Do, Review target templates, then copy the plan or download it as a PDF.
- Share a one-page profile. Give every teacher a short summary with passes, healthcare and evacuation plans, exam access arrangements, reading age and other support in place.

Assess Plan Do Review is a planning aid. It gives starting points for professional judgement and is not a diagnosis or a substitute for specialist assessment.
Questions schools ask
Does it store anything about our pupils?
No. What staff type is held only in the browser while the page is open. Staff copy or download the finished plan and keep it in the school's own systems.
Can it carry our school's name and crest?
Yes. Each school gets its own web address, with its name, crest and colours and links to its own booklet and staff contacts.
Does it replace professional judgement?
No. It is a planning aid that offers starting points. A SENCo or teacher decides what is right for each pupil, and specialist assessment still has its place.
Who can open our school's version?
School addresses sit behind a staff sign-in using a one-time code sent to a school email address.
Can we try it first?
Yes. Use the demo with a made-up pupil, or ask us about a pilot for your school.
